Is there anywhere to sell my old exhaust?

    I have heard of people steeling catalytic converters etc to pawn the metal for $? Well I am not a crook but I do have an extra exhaust lying in my garage from my truck... could i sell it or something? What way will give me top dollar for it?

    Do some research on Cat recyclers. You'd probably get more money for the CAT alone than the entire exhaust system.

    You took the cat off or is it a cat back system?
    If you did indeed remove the cat better keep it for when you get popped for smog violation.

    I had a Dodge Ram exhaust setup for several years (tried to sell it) before I finally cut it up and gave it to a co-worker who recycles metal. It probably wasn't worth the gas they used to drive to the recycler.

    Advertise it on various offroading forums. You might find someone with a rock buggy or budget build looking for cheap parts.

    I replaced the exhaust on my truck and can't give the original way.I had a Ford Ranger and I replaced the exhaust on that and had the same problem. I couldn't give it away, no one wants exhaust no matter how new once it was on a truck. I will probably hold on to this exhaust and when I get tired looking at it scrap it.
