My last trip to the DMV was different from yours. In and out in 5 mins, great, friendly, and helpful staff. One of the advantages of living in a small North Carolina town. :)

While out on a jobsite doing some survey work, I paused to take a phone call. I saw out of the window this couple loading the trunk of their Uber in the exit for a hotel drive and in the bike lane. Bikes were swerving into that protected median and into the street to avoid it.

Didn't think much of it, resumed working and ten minutes later, it's still there.

I mean, seriously, there's a waiting zone fifteen feet in front of you.

This guy. "I'll just pull straight in. It's a short uhaul so I don't care if it's sticking out."

They're an SUV with a U-haul. I think we all already know the answer to that one.

    This and that...
Didn't get any pictures, but had a Transit Van block me in on the side of the street. Had the gym make an announcement twice which I was 90% sure he or she was at. No one came, probably because it was raining and they didn't feel like it was necessary. Fortunately I have a solid bike rack on the back. I may have "rested" it on their bumper a few times to get out of the spot... Really, going to go to the gym and make a parking spot out of nothing while blocking another vehicle in so you don't have to walk as far... o_O

That's a safety hazard, I'd call 911 and report it.

A guy parked his rollback wrecker in a no parking zone where I used to live several times. This blocked the view of the street for people pulling out of the parking lot which was a serious safety hazard as many drivers went faster than the 25mph speed limit.
I got tired of it so I turned him in. Later that night it was gone, apparently whatever happened had the desired effect as he never did it again.

Too many people have the attitude if the can't find a parking space where they want they are justified in leaving their vehicle wherever they want.

Yes. He could not. Almost jackknifed it. Backed up enough to get out though. Came close to the suburban while turning.
