Yes he does. Looks like they have the same mannerisms when sitting as well. My cat Salvador sits like that all the time.

We got Henry home around 7:30 last night. We set up our guest room for his recovery with his own food, water, and box, and someone was always in there with him - Heather slept up there last night and I'm covering the weekend. He looked like he lost an epic bar fight and then left through a plate glass window. His ear was matted with dried blood and the stitches had to be left loose so some weeping was too be expected. His back has a square shaved and stiches where the second mass was removed, but it was clean and dry. They also shaved his front leg for the IV, and the underside if his tail for the pulse/ox sensor. Dude looks pretty rough.

Anyway, he ate a whole can of food in one go, then walked around leaving little blood stains all over the room. His ear dried up sometime overnight because it's not weeping any this morning. We had to put a cone on him when it came time to sleep because we were worried he would scratch something open, but he got out if it while Heather was sleeping and cleaned himself up. The first three pics below are from just after getting him home. The two on the bed are from this morning. He seems to be doing okay. My only concern is that he hasn't used the box yet, and we're monitoring that situation closely. We rearranged our work schedules so he won't be alone until at least Tuesday.

Thank you for all the warm wishes and support!

No kidding that ear sure does look like a bloody mess!!! He looks really good though and the fact he ate last night is a good sign that he’s feeling ok and wants to survive. After sukis last surgery she didn’t eat much and it took her a couple of days to use the litter box. Let me tell you how excited we were when she went that first time!!! You guys sound like great cat parents and even if Harry is a little pissed at you right now he’ll love you even more in the end. Please update on his progress.

Poor guy! As long as he survived the bar fight!! Glad he’s home and on the mend. Eating is a good sign. I do know that one of our cats had surgery and the anesthesia caused constipation. It worked itself out eventually.

Good call... maybe we should add this to the “will this buff out?” thread?

He prob will poop when the anesthetics run out of his body...Like humans getting put under messes up your system. He looks like hes feeling better though! Hopefully recovery goes well also!

Seems like every time this cat sleeps, he's on the floor and upside down. Never had a cat that preferred hard surfaces to soft ones. Or sleeping belly up, for that matter.
Pardon the blurriness; it was taken with digital zoom from across the room

The pain meds seem to be giving him insomnia. This has happened with other cats in the past. He looks so tired, but just lays there without going to sleep..and his pupils are gigantic.
