I did the same thing with no luck I wondered if it had anything to do with where the bar is mounted in relation to the windshield but who knows let me no if you figure anything out I gave up a while ago

it maybe just the mount brackets.....have you looked at other options? I tried to keep mine nice and tight to the top

maybe try and tape up the sides of mount brackets?? so they are smooth

Hopefully I get a reply to this, it’s been a while since this thread has been active. I have a Cali Raised 52” curved on my roof and I don’t really have any issues with whistling, however it seems like the game one coming off the bar causes my whole roof to vibrate, particularly above the overhead console. Have y’all found anything that stops that?

When I first put my bar on, if i went faster than 5 mph my whole roof felt like it was going to come off. I bought a clear door sweep from homedepot and attached it to the very bottom of the bar and the vibration disappeared. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Frost-K...lear-Self-Stick-Door-Bottom-DS101CL/301403951 i think this is the same one that i got.

My bar sits over my windshield, so I’m not totally sure there’s room for this without interfering with my wipers. Can you send pics of how yours is on?

This helps a lot, what fin did you attach the deflector too, also, how many did it take to span the whole bar?

I attached it to the very bottom, i think it took 2 of the door sweep things. It got rid of the horrible vibration but the whistle is still there, I got tired of trying to get rid of the whistle.

I also have a Cali Raised 52” curved light, I don’t have any issues with the bar itself, I put some door edge strips on bottom 4 fins. My issue is the mounts don’t let the door seal... seal. Starting around 25 mph I here air leak both sides at mount point. Looks to me the bracket holds door out too much not letting it close all the way. Have you noticed this also?

I don’t know if it’s like this on the 3rd gens, but on my 2015 there’s actually 2 door seals, one inner one, which isn’t affected at all by the mount and then one that lines the outside of the door that provides additional insulation against noise and the elements. I made sure when installing that I got the bracket as flush as possible so I haven’t had any issues with air or water leaks, but the wind noise off mine is loud as hell. I’ll post pics later today
