    They’re calling it a ‘summer stout,’ and it comes in at 4%. Compared to the other stouts I’ve had lately, it’s obviously much lighter on the pallet, but it’s nice in that it’s a stout and I don’t feel like good to drink in the humidity here.

    Thought it wouldn’t sell well because of the low ABV.. until it was all gone within a few hours. People are upset with it on Untappd because it’s not their normal 11% stuff, but they also complained about their last sour because it wasn’t a speciality brew like their prior sour release. People are funny.

    I bottled my SN Pale Ale Clone today. It tasted pretty good. Probably a bit more bitter than the original, but still tasty. It also has a great color. Overall, I’m pretty sure it will be a better result than my Hefeweizen.

    I stopped at the LHBS yesterday and picked up some ingredients for some future brews. 3 lbs of light DME, a pound of Crystal 60 and two different varieties of hops, Cascade and Simcoe. I have discovered the 15-minute Pale Ale and I plan to brew one with each hop. With a new baby in the house, I am very interested in such a short brew day. I am planning on doing this tomorrow so we shall see how it goes.
