Oh I know, they stole it around midnight and we only found that it's gone by the morning. I hope ISIS enjoys it as I did.
It was 2017 4Runner Limited, nothing special, just like 1000s on the road 4Runners in Canada.
I am looking now into replacements and don't really want to get another 4Runner, it's not worth the money they ask, features it has or MPG it gets. Will be looking more into the Disco 5 and Germans now.
MT is our all :burnrubber: , hopefully my Taco is still in Edmonton when I return tomorrow from BC. :fingerscrossed:

I want the new Defender for myself, I fear Taco may be gone next year if they sell those with MT :anonymous:

Took my Tacoma in for a frame inspection today, 10mm hole in weld above LCA on cross member. They said they’ll make a claim and get back to me, has anyone experienced getting denied with a claim?

Hope the insurance company doesnt dick you around too much. Work with a guy that has a newer Merc diesel soccer mom suv(not a g wagon)...been nothing but problems. Good luck on your search for a replacement

EDIT: Imagine the gun they will mount outside the sunroof. Cooler mods than you would do!

I added pete37’s old MBRP front skid plate. Thanks Pete. I sanded it down and painted it.
Sliders on the way. Should be here, painted, and installed by July.

Mods: Is this still a Tacoma?
These are the times I wish a ***** would with my remote start/smart phone app based control module installed...I would just pull out my phone, then click on GPS locate and take the law into my own hands...after I let them reveal a few of their spots, and maybe home(s)...because I wouldn't want the car back, that's what insurance is for. I would want a little more than that, I'd hand the police their sting operation on a golden platter, and let the rookie take credit for it...but then again...I might just throw dog turd and run after talking all this big talk...or maybe send them a picture of my car, and their home or spots, or anonymous letters for a year with registered name of the property (public info). It would be fun to send anonymous letters to all their addresses telling them "I see you"...I could have a lot of fun on your behalf, but only if.....talk about anxiety. So much creativity can come out of something like this UNFORTUNATE situation and this hardware...BUT AT LEAST you KNOW they are caught.

It depends on the thief’s, unless it’s some dumb joyriders I would think they would know how to disable the system or make it stop transmitting signal. A simple placement inside container can cause signal loss too if they are serious about shipping car. Worst part is the fight ahead with the insurance, they are #1 enemy in my list right before the thief’s :smash:
