You just need to hit your oem bumps more to break them in. I hit mine all the time and don't think they're that rough anymore.

If your control arm bushings are fubar, yes

Alignment shop was able to get me to 3 degrees caster without using the SPCs so I'm happy.

Although are my rear toe numbers concerning? I still get a pull to the right at highway speed I'm wondering if my leafs aren't seated quite evenly on the rear axle.

Might just be the tires causing the pull, STMaxx are known to pull right for some.

Just look at the build thread
Interested but never hear of Locked. Do they actually make a kit for Tacomas or is this a custom DIY thing?

They make cans which you would have to DIY mount just like other manufacturers. the only bolt on kit they make is for 2nd gens. They are actually a vendor here on the site as well

Where do you have the bump hitting the arm at?

Im not on mine a ride height..but just barely so.

But at least they hit square on and don't deflect. I actually like mine. Now that I have a spot for a hydro that will be tempting though. However, Hydro off the LCA is shit anyways as they are 2'' stroke and the geometery just isn't there so you pretty much ride on them for like 4'' of your travel. Kinda sucks. So not sold on that idea.

I think having a softer rubber bump and then a harder one is probably the best thing you can do with the stock setup. Get a little progression of a stop before rock hard. Kind of how a hydro works but you would only do it in the last bit of travel with the rubber ones at least.

Or a hard one and then a by pass secondary...but thats a bit of a pain too..

I have a camburg lt kit upfront which has a spot for bump stops

So they actually have a Tacomaworld 15 percent off discount already but if I can find 25 to 30 people to commit to a group buy they can do a better discount. They do 20 percent off here and there but that makes there profit down to 5 dollars a bump stop which isnt much for them.

So I posted several months ago on this thread. At the time I just finished swapping out my motor with a motor from JDM. I drove it for about 4 months, put 3000 miles on it and somehow my #2 cylinder got so hot it made a piece of the head come off and bounced around the cylinder. And now 3 weeks after that happened, I have now rebuilt the JDM engine. Not entirely sure how this happened but I replaced fuel injectors, plugs, coils and wires. Also new pistons, rings, valves, and gaskets all the way around. Anybody ever heard of something like this?20190416_213453.jpg 20190416_213514.jpg 20190416_213926.jpg

Got the dreaded P0420 so just bit the bullet and changed both cats, both sensors.

Denso and Magnaflow. I started with Flowmaster just because they are cheaper, but (FYI) Flowmaster has discontinued the front cat and could not guarantee their rear would work with another brand's front.

Holy Cow, thing has so much power again it nearly snapped my neck when I floored it . . .

Actually, I'll just be glad to get my mpgs back. Waiting on parts, I've been getting 8-10mpg for 2 weeks.

And with the cat back exhaust I did a couple years ago, it is all new again.

    Time for that Supercharger?

Installed a 4runner key light hole thingy. Not sure how but seemed to have tapped into the right wires from my clock. Reading threw others experience with this mod few have complained about the ring light reflecting in the window at night. This is true, but with this set up when lights are off the ring light is on. Then when I turn on the lights, it turns off. Can’t get any better then that.
