Hah! I kind of wanted one, but it was really more the wife’s idea than mine. I joked about getting a boat and she said “I told you a long time ago I wanted one and you shot me down”.
I guess we have something to do together now, since she won’t come wheeling with me. She’s too scared of me flipping the truck over.

 

The wait finally ended. Bumper came in last week.
Prepped and painted yesterday and installed today.
Still need to get a flip up bracket for the license plate, reconnect the camera and plate lights, and get some slim lug nuts so I can mount my spare.

 

Fishing on Saturday and wheeling on Sunday. Beautiful weather both days.
If every weekend could be like this one...

 

reading through this old build thread, I'm in Jersey Village.

Storming all weekend. Way too nasty to go hit the trails.
Bright side is that with the prolonged heavy rain, I got a free carwash!




And thinking about getting some beadlocks.
I had to go to the tire shop this morning for a slow leak I’ve had all week. Turns out it was leaking around the bead. This is the 3rd time this had happened after wheeling.

Looking at some TR beadlocks, but they’re pricey.

Got invited to ride at someone’s private adventure land in Mississippi. Place is huge and has tons of trails.

 

I’ve been doing more fishing than wheeling lately, so the build has been on the back burner. Finally got around to something I’ve been putting off for a while though....

Made the trip to East Coast Gear Supply to get 5.29 gears installed.
Trip was 918 miles and 15 hours with gas and food stops. We’re going to hang around North Carolina and Tennessee and make a little vacation out of it while I break in the gears.

 

Can’t wait for the feedback. Stoked you got em done!

Where did you mount
The rear camera? I have the same bumper.

 

No, I don’t have any other pics. It held up fine though. Was still there when I sold the truck. Lol.
