    Also done the front diff bushing test? To determine if you need the ecgs bushing. Do the vibes go away when you shift into 4wd?

    i already installed the bushing a bit ago :)

    I did put it in 4-hi but its so hit or miss on it doing it it was inconclusive. About the only for sure way to make it stop is to put it in neutral. I could go drive, have the issue, then go to neutral and it would stop, then back to drive and it would start again

    In case anyone's wondering, it's usually a good idea to have your front driveshaft installed before you go for a snow run... :anonymous:

    At least I have it with me and the new ujoint too. :bananadead:

    Broke trail to silver fir chair lift. Let my all-terrains down to 8ish psi. 11psi wasn't quite enough to float me on the mashed potatoe base. Varied from trace amounts to 3 almost 4ft in some places. Found a nice spot where the creek melted the ground snow with a 10" false base that I fell through. Not sure if I've said it before but Trac is fucking awesome.

    @JimSnell when we doing Gallagher?

    Anyone know if the 2nd gens have a low voltage alarm? I had one spot where I worked the winch pretty good and the dash started beeping but I no lights illuminated. It was the same beeping heard when vsc kicks in and vsc was disabled.

    I bet it’s a cracked flex plate. I’ve had two thus far. Sounds pretty similar. Have someone stand next the vehicle as you drive through a parking lot real slow and listen for a metallic ticking underneath the vehicle about where the driver sits. Shift it into drive and hold brakes then give it a little throttle and see if it makes the noise.

    So you can winch @bobsuruncle from either end.

    exactly. I've had the rear winch on and functional for quite awhile, and I've got a solid year of testing the hitch out pretty significantly. So now it's time to finally glue a bumper together.

    I originally bought another winch from 4wp at the swap meet last year to install in my rear bumper. It is built yo accept one. But after looking at the price of wire to run all the way back there I said f it.

    Dude, come down to the thing at griots. Stop here for breakfast first. I've got a bedrack that I built last weekend on a truck that's in the show.

    Meh I suppose. I'm supposed to tear useful parts off my old motor today, replace a ujoint and clean up some wiring they didn't button up from the frame swap. Should probably get my wheels balanced and rotated too.

    yep and the most popular/easiest are Honda civic and accord. So I wonder if Jeeps are as easy to steal as those.

    I'd think they have modern day theft deterrent systems like rolling code or chipped key ignition. Especially on the higher end models. Base models not so much probably.

    I've got half a dozen or so keys from my previous Toyota mini trucks that will just about start any Toyota from 79-89 no hot wiring needed. Just the ole jiggle key.

    Lower bearings were definitely seized onto the bolts. 926469DC-0028-4D08-9835-BBCB2A6C33A4.jpg5B6A5C67-5861-407D-B039-D3E2F28C156F.jpg
