Really like this. Lights usually don’t bother me. I have lights under my dash because I haven’t ordered a dome light to fix mine.

If it was the stock green light I think it would be fine, but driving at night with a white led light reflecting off the windshield will get annoying. But that just like my opinion man lol. I do think it’s weird that the light is angled just right to reflect in my line of sight.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

You shouldn't have a problem. I bought All Pro sliders about a month ago and they had a pretty adequate amount of sliders on hand.

Finally replaced the OEM shocks with new. Got an alignment. And thanks to this forum had the ball joints checks. So in the last couple months I got a new frame, control arms, brake lines, radiator and timing belt. Hopi g to make this Truck last a looong time.

How long is the gap between the bolt on part and the wings for the press? I am in the middle of building that tool too. Also did you just press everything off without cutting the retainers or did you cut the retainers first?

Mine turns off when the key is set to ON. The whole point is so you can find the key hole in the dark so that's what I made mine do.

You didnt want to wire it into the door circuit? So it goes on when the door is opened, then off when you put the key in? Kinda like it wouldve come from the factory.

So can I get your guys opinion on a matter. I might have made a poor purchase. So I bought some rims that are 17 x 9 with a -38 offset. If the online calculator is correct that will push them out about 2" further that what I'm running now and 1" further that a 8x16 with a -25 offset.
I was hoping to run a 285 70 17 . Will I even be able to turn the tires? I know I'm going to have to trim but I'm not sure if itll be worth it for the amount I'll have to trim for it to fit.
Thoughts ?? Anyone else running 33's with a big offset rim?

I am also having a clicking noise coming from the front, but its mainly on small bumps. I also have clicking coming from the rear and sounds like the leaf springs. Although 3 weeks ago i replaced the carrier bearing.

I haven’t tried yet but I think mine should dim too. I’ll find out today.

I’m not tracking what you mean when you say the “bolt on part and the wings for the press”. I pressed everything off bc if you do it that way you can reuse the retainers and ABS tone rings.

Has anyone put 6x9s in the doors?

Crutchfield says 6.5 and 6x8 will work... says 6x9 wont. I have fit 6x9 where they weren't supposed to fit before, just wondering if anyone has done it before I start ripping door panels off to see for myself.

Exactly what I did a couple of weeks ago. Just forgot to post about it. Dome light circuit FTW.

Anyone have any idea why when you crank the truck up the dash has a little rattle to it but if you put your hand on it the rattle stops. Can’t seem to locate the problem

Supercharger question for those who know 1st gen superchargers.
Will a 97 /3400 supercharger fit on 2004 /3400? Pic below is the 97. Sorry such a noob question I would just guess yes?

Nice! 97 is the best year Imo.

The biggest issue you'll have with that plan is the intake might be different on your 2004 vs the 97 stock one which requires a lot more vacuum line connections. But probably just have stuff capped or something
