Thanks a lot. No they remove the cloth covers and install the leather with a pad built in.
BTW the whole seat is not leather. The backs are color match vinyl. No seats are entirely leather unless you pay big money. Think Ferrari, Bentley, Lamborghini...not even MB, Jag, BMW.

Mine was a misaligned radiator support to passenger frame rail body bushing (metal tube through a rubber bushing). Worst squeak I ever heard on a car less than 40 years old.

Where do you mount your front license plate on this?

 

There is a spot in the middle underneath. I circled the area on a pic on my phone......not sure if you can see it, but there are bolt holes for your plate.

 

one seats in. will do the passenger tomorrow and get all the correct resistors in. the passenger occupancy sensor is a bit harder to get around. don’t have a solution there yet.

 

That’s CLEAN. Reminds me of the old recaros, or euro DTM.

 

yeah. so far i’m too sweaty to get in really. but they’re super comfy right off the bat. bolsters adjust in out, base adjusts out, lower and mid back support.

I paid $1495 plus tax for replacement leather covers and installation. I’ve seen a lot of Jeeps with Katzkins and they were great. I have not ever installed Katzkins before and I wanted it done right, so it was a no brainer to have a professional put them in. I know, kind of pricey, but worth it IMO.
