Dual battery.
Lights, chargers, compressor and aux radio when we are at camp. Last thing i want in the desert is a dead battery.

The plan was to get a fridge, but that is alot of $$$.

I can also run both batteries when I use the winch

And second battery can start the engine if the first drains

Those fridges are nice though. I'm seeing more of those out there (at work). I see some of those guys are running 2 batteries plus a small solar set up (for a 3rd battery) and some of those are Jeeps (CJ, YJ, JK). Not long ago you didn't see a 2nd battery except on the bigger pickups with a cabover set up.

Sorry around here there is no cut off time for a snowblower or any snow related work. People leave at all sorts of hours. I think Street would be in trouble if they complain that the city plow was disturbing them at 2 o’clock in the morning LOL

Drove most of the way up last night because later today is supposed to be a wash out. So we made it in this morning and got set up right before the rain started.

They have flexable solar panels for the roof. It would be nice to have that setup. But again, $$$

But it is getting better, more power, faster charging. I don't know if now would be a time to buy something like that. Solar tech isn't moving at blinding speed but it is moving a bit faster than it was a few years ago. Some of our old panels only produce 1/3 or less of the power the new ones produce that are the same size.

    Good afternoon.
I started the day dividing the backyard because the concrete guys are supposed to be here about 1500 to start subgrade on the new pour, went in the garage starting to strip a used aluminum sink for the trailer and ended up with a halfway clean garage. Found all kinds of parts and pieces I forgot I had.
