Tacoma at 20 mpg vs Corolla at 35 mpg for 2000 mile round trip Denver to Austin. All highway, no off road. Let’s hear the opinions.

Do you need to take the truck? If not there’s no reason not to take the Rolla.

The only advantage the Tacoma will offer is visibility from sitting up higher.

Manual or automatic? Driving a stick in Austin traffic is not fun.

I have a VW that gets 600 or more miles out of one tank. I always tell myself I'll take the taco on long trips but always fold and take the VW.

Thanks for your input. The verdict is the auto trans Corolla over the manual Tacoma. Leaving 5/15.

Id say taco the roads get pretty bumpy thru some of the long stretches of 2 lane highways an you’d have more leg and cargo room.

I tend to drive at night for hours during trips so I would choose the one with better lighting.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Corolla.

The money you save on gasoline can be used for mods to the Tacoma.:D

    Safe travels.

If I spend any more money on the truck I’m gonna get “that look”.BC3B942B-D6C6-411F-81AE-64B7CF6E875A.jpg
