    Well, the trip has begun! We successfully navigated LA and The Ellen Show. Now we’re heading home to WI in our rented Nissan Rogue full of the Mother’s Day Show gifts!

    We made it 14 hours today to Grand Junction, CO. Stopped at Rock Slide Brew Pub and got a free pint of their Horse-thief IPA.

    I plan to get two 15 minute pale ales done today. One with Cascade and the other with Simcoe hops.

    This is my brew day drink. I bought this last year and had planned to let it age a bit but I did some research and found out it was bottled in 2016 so I figured it was good to go. And I was right, this is an excellent stout. The blueberries and vanilla really shine through. The chocolate not so much.
