So I determined that a first gen Tacoma can use an AJT key fob case. My 04 came with two RS3200/
BAB237131-056 red light key fobs. One is absolutely trashed and another is still in plastic untouched.

I decided to buy a replacement aftermarket that was modeled after a first gen Tundra key fob. It’s gasket inside is black instead of red and the buttons are hard vs soft. But it syncs up to my Tacoma fine. Then I bought the AJT design Tundra case and put the fob internals in it. Not too interesting but my plan to do steering rack bushings was ruined by rain today.

Who's from Georgia. I'm seriously thinking about packing up my shit and moving out of California within the next year or so. Have a good friend that lives in kingsland and debating moving out there

Don't do it bro... California sucks! Move to Reno, to get close, but you don't want to live here.

I wouldnt say that, but it would be hard to do any trips longer than a weekend. Lot of technical stuff out east if you can put up with hoards of jeeps, as unfortunetly its all really short trails crammed into offroad parks. Theres some longer trails in the North Georgia/NC mountains but they are more like fire roads.

I plan on pulling my leafs tomorrow if I dont act as lazy as I did today. The objective is to replace my squeaky 2" AAL with a 1.5" AAL from wheelers that has the squeak pads on it. My only concern is whether or not I should retain my 3 degree shims. I had some nasty vibes after installing the 2" spring that were remedied with the shims, but Im wondering if 3 degrees is too much for 1.5" of lift. Or am I just overthinking it? I planned on keeping them, but now Im second guessing myself.

Theres more I just cant think of the names

Were not without trails too, ya know? They are vastly different compared to the desert climate out west, but we definetly have our fare share of rock crawling.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
He hasn't even gone through an entire state, don't forget every other western state. The east has too much private land to have any wheeling worth traveling there for... One of the reasons we never set up an easy coast trip. Too much pavement in between everything.

Just installed this cool light rack! got tired of the lame skinny light bar so i saw this online for $100 & had to do some modding to my brackets & the piece its self but i made it fit gave it a nice coat of black paint & now next is to wire it!
