Not calling anybody out but thought I'd point out this thread is isn't for buying and selling parts. OP stated it's for those who want to print there own creations. Seems like several have come looking for a product. We have several great vendors to help with that.

Has anyone looked into PETG for exterior parts? I was looking into printing some Rock Light mounts for the top of my bed cover.

Check out Sumo rod mounts. I have the magnetic ones and they hold firm at any highway speed

Haven't heard much here lately so I thought I'd bring the thread back.

Just got my printer set up. I'm trying it out on something for the wife for Mother's Day. I better hurry...

I only have PLA filament right now so nothing for the truck, yet. I'm going to pick up some PETG soon and start with trays for the center console. Anyone else made anything recently??MVIMG_20190511_214857.jpg

Ooh, this is a fun thread! Latest project is going to be a shift lever with multiple buttons. Will be paired with the everlanders raspberry pi backup camera/Android auto project

I like the knobs. Honestly, I've never had a problem with the factory but I've been tempted to print some just because I can. The paint is a nice accent.

Are you going to print the whole knob? What material are you going to use and how will you finish it? I'm definitely new to this so I'm just curious what you will do to smooth/refine it and make it hold up to all the skin oils and use.

Yeah, all printed with some tactile switches for controling my lights and maybe a few other access.
I will probably print it with abs and smooth it using sanding, and an acetone vapor to finish it.

Got the first test print for sizing done, it's a little big, so have to go back and do a little adjusting.

P.s. hope you guys don't mind me poking around the 3rd gen thread, I'm only a 2nd gen and I don't see a 3d printer thread for 2nd gens...

No judgement here. Honestly, half the parts are interchange, anyway. Maybe you'll design something that ends up on a 3rd gen...

Links for the STLs of the knobs. Also, nothing on the letters?
