I didn't feel the need to do a cmc with my 16x8 et0 wheel set, but once I went -20.. I HAD to lol. I did shave and trim my fender flares and cut out some fender liner to clear the 33" yokohama g003's, but I still manage to hit the fender itself. Soo there's a good chance I'll be cutting at least 1.5" from the flare/fender

Haha yea I am! I think I've seen your truck on the 15 around the Norco/Eastvale area, but every time I see a nicely modified tacoma, I'm not in my truck

Same here, I see the occasional modified Tacoma around my area, seems none of them are members.

I think my wheels are -12 offset. Which has so far been alright, but I do just barely rub the cab mounts on sharp turns on the street with my falkens. After minor trimming of the liner and mount I should be fine. :fingerscrossed: I want to clearance it under articulation though. Eventually I’d like to run a 295/75r16 which actually amounts to a true 33x12 since 285s aren’t quite there.

Nevermind the rusted nerf bars. Will repaint when I'm back home.

Act the age you feel. We all think in one age and see another in the mirror. Hell I am 65 and look at my 2009

295/75/16 was the plan with the hankook mt since it measured like 33.5x11.5. Long story short, supposedly it was discontinued and I did not want to pay $1000 for them just to possibly think it would be hard to source an extra down the line.

Found a deal on the km3's and was cheaper than the 305/70/16s I was considering.

Peeling dashboard TSB for those interested.
It doesn't pertain to my vehicle but it's what part number I got when I ordered a new one.

Realized that I will have to pull my dash back out. There is a small piece of foam at the front of the dash called "instrument cushion". The new one didn't come with the dash and I had to get the dash in before the rain today.
I can't use the old one because when I peeled it off, the adhesive stayed on the old dashboard. Hopefully the dealership could get it soon.

I only have the dash and speedo in. I'll be making custom wiring harnesses for my switches, cruise (to be added later) and navigation install, with everything out of the way, it's much easier.

Thanks! With the flanges at the base of each nut, they don't clear the center caps. Guess I could take the caps off, but these are pretty beat up anyway, so going to start looking for whatever the new 4Runners use

I’ve neglected my truck past year with axle seal gone bad which wore out a lot more than anticipated. Didn’t expect to see booster from Toyota like this. At first I threw up in my mouth a little but wasn’t bad building it after observing old one. I finally have brakes after all new rear, front power stop , master cylinder and booster. Now to get some real line wrenches to replace hoses
