Tips and Tricks on the 3rd Gen Tacoma

Yeah I'm not going to buy any new sensors when the batteries on the ones in my wheels give out. Just going to let my little light shine.

 

You could build a pressurized canister to put the sensors in. Then just keep that canister in the truck.

This is probably already covered but I just found out that the steering wheel telescopes in and out when unlocked for adjustment.

An alternative for raising the seat is a couple of used hockey pucks (son is a goalie) they are made from very dense rubber and 1” thick, drill a hole in the center and bolt them down using two new 10mm bolts that are a inch longer in length than the stock bolts and with the proper hardness. Problem solved inexpensively.

Son keeps asking where his pucks went, I dunno son......

Yeah sorry it was one of those where the flash kind of made it worse. Moral of the story: the cubby behind the seat is two beer cans wide.

I drink cans exclusively for some reason. I'll actually pass on a beer that looks interesting because it's not in cans.

 

The Batteries last about 10-15 years from my experience.
So not an immediate concern.
I actually took part the cluster on my 2nd gen and removed the door buzzer and the little LED light for the TPMS. Never to shine ever again! LMAO!

 

That picture reminds me of the time my son got pulled over here in Ohio for drinking while driving. The policeman was pretty pissed when my son asked him what’s up. The officer said that he saw my son drinking a beer while driving. My son looked down at the open brown bottle said i’m sorry it was indeed beer of sorts and offered it up to the officer telling him that it was the best damn root-beer he had ever had. It was IBC that came in a dark colored bottle. After that they both had a good laugh.

 

That is enough to make me cry. I'm truly saddened by you having such a horrible affliction.
