MESO products are wonderful, but if you can't sleep at night knowing your gas cap does not have a home, get the smallest 3M Command stick-on hook you can find. Stick on the inside of the door, job done.

Thats how I do it. I wondered if people weren't tracking but who knows. To be honest I'll most likely get the gashole just cause.

I miss how my Focus ST didn’t have a cap. You push the gas door open and slide in the nozzle. Didn’t even have to buy her dinner.

That said I’m a fan and user of the gashole.

Speaking of gas holes... and rants. Does anyone else have to stand there gently dribbling the last 2.5gal in to get the tank full? The thing clicks off at 18gal on a 21gal tank.

    2 things here.
    1. When your gauge says empty, that doesn't mean the tank is dry.
    2. When the nozzle clicks, that's it. You can round up to the next cents or dollar depending on how close you are, but don't try to put another 2 gallons in. There needs to be a vapor barrier.
