Just found one in my back yard today with my weedwacker (just after doing my dogs fenceline) so I'm not going to touch it.

I checked the surrounding area but didn't see any more. I nestled that guy back under some brush, maybe he'll sprout some friends.

Do you remember what lower control arms you bought? Moog or Mevotech?

Moog seems to have 2 different lower control arms and I can't seem to see any difference between them.

MOOG RK641522 R-Series; Complete Arm w/ Ball Joint
Front Left Lower; RWD; Base Model

MOOG RK641521 R-Series; Complete Arm w/ Ball Joint
Front Right Lower; RWD; Base Model

MOOG RK621294 R-Series; Complete Arm w/ Ball Joint
    Front Left Lower; 4WD; RWD

MOOG RK621293 R-Series; Complete Arm w/ Ball Joint
    Front Right Lower; 4WD; RWD

Oh yeah, duh. But I'll need to buy other parts directly from Toyota?

    Yes.
Do NOT purchase the MOOG cam bolts - they are absolute garbage. Got to go OEM with those.

There’s differing opinions on their LCA ball joints. I can tell you that I ran them for quite some time prior to my frame swap without any issues but I know of at least one other member who did not have a good experience with them.

I now have completely stock LCAs and they are performing just fine even though I’m running 35x12.5x17 tires.

If $ is not an issue, there are two companies that make stock- length aftermarket LCA’s that are very robust: Dirt King and Total Chaos.

I looked up the Total Chaos lower control arms. Definitely out of the question. I'd rather put that much money towards my student loan.
