I am looking for the sr5 emblem that goes on the side of the cab of a 2000 Tacoma sr5. Does anyone know where to get them?

Those are long discontinued if I recall correctly, and replacement of remaining stock sell in the hundreds of dollars.

I’m sure Toyota discontinued it because there’s no more money to be made from them, even if a select few want to buy them they’re not going to get the tooling and manufacturing ready just for that.

Damn, are these items really that rare? I think a junk yard trip is in order!

Makes me think next time I go I may have to start pulling every emblem I can find, keep stock and just ship them to those in need.

Once they’re on a vehicle they’re worthless. These are made from a soft Silicone material and once you remove them you’ll half the time ruin them.

New ones are expensive for this reason.

Ah I gotcha, well fuck. Maybe someone could find a half decent set to scan in for production of 3d printed versions? Just a thought.

Yeah they do that for the third gen TRD Pro emblems.

However here I see just simple die cut vinyl decals being better.
