I think you might do better when it actually releases. The dealer may be playing games knowing that it’s not out yet and knowing they can play with numbers because of that

When I was going to buy a Voodoo Blue last year I was working with Jeff Westcott at Right Toyota in Scottsdale, AZ, he's a good dude and will get you MSRP no mark up.

You are at a slight disadvantage being this year is a refresh and you are wanting the new PRO color, its gonna be a seller's market at first.

maybe....but I perceive him to be one that has no issues with money and that he just wants a Pro.....probably doesn’t have time or want to “build” a Pro.....just my thoughts

Good choice! The Pro’s are awesome trucks and they are still in limited production at the Texas plant.

Since your in Los Angeles call Michael Kim (213-587-1311) at Longo Toyota, the largest Toyota dealer in the country and owned by Roger Penske. They do not gouge customers and sell all Pro’s at MSRP. You will have to get on a customer list for a 2020. I placed my order with Michael back in January (Super White with a 6-speed manual tranny).

My guess is that a 2020 Pro will be roughly $1100-$1500 higher than a 2019 model. (pricing has not been announced yet). They should be hitting dealer lots around October.

If he made his own money and works hard to keep it I don't see the problem here. Your jealously or lack of money or brains shouldn't cloud your opinion of someone you know little about.

Logically and financially from a glance it doesnt make sense for me to get into a top of the line pick up truck and I actually had a amazing salesperson who took the time and tried to talk me out of a pro. I deeply considered his opinion but for me, this will be a vehicle I'm going to keep forever I'd hope and if and when I get bored of it I'm simply going to give it to my dad. I dont think he cares about a pro or what not but im sure he can appreciate it for what it is. I want a trd pro because yes obviously is a badass truck and I dont plan on doing anything to it.

So let me play devil's advocate for a minute, you mentioned dont care about xx just a badass truck, though the pro has some nice additions to the off road I wouldnt say its quite like going from a 3 series to an M4 performance wise. Sure the fox suspension and some aestics but not a huge jump handling/performance wise from a stock TRD OR (cue the Pro fan boy hate), that being said have you considered a Raptor? Looks like price wise they are on par with the price of an M4 and you definately are getting a high performance badass truck. I'm a Tacoma guy, but my dad is a Raptor guy and it is way more of a performance based, badass truck. Just my 2 cents. Obligatory picture of Dad's old 14 and new 18, from Sept.

Exactly and sounds like OP is looking for a performance based (he has an M4) "badass truck" (as he mentioned). Raptor fits that bill over a TRD Pro Tacoma for sure.

I would honestly wait until prices get released. There's really no way of knowing for sure what they will come in at,all speculation until then. Just my 2 cents. Get whatever truck you want man. It's your money and your tastes. I will say those Raptors are hella nice

Great options there and yes I have explored other brands and trucks. I would of really considered the ranger raptor if it released in the US. The f150 is just too big for my needs.
