I couldn't get it in Amazon or through summit racing, I didn't try ebay. I always forget about eBay. But then I read that GM dealers keep it on hand for the Camaros or something like that so I just went there to get it

 

Just make sure your AFR is correct when you get on the throttle

 

How did you know what setting to put your injection system at?

 

AFR you will monitor to see. Every engine is different for nozzle size to injection start time

 

Guess I’m going be driving the E320 around for a while, I’m supposed to be driving my truck back to San Francisco tonight haha. I only get to work on it on weekends.

I have the AFR and Boost gauges plus the meth harness, but I need to plumb it into the truck.

 

I started with a number 1 nozzle now Im at a 4 nozzle with my upgrades and starting at 4 pounds of boost up progressively

 

How much boost are you making?

 

10 pounds, porting dropped it a little which means I actually have more air flow more power with less boost

 

Good lord man. I’m happy to make 5.5 PSI.

 

I'm sure the answer is 'duh' but I'm gonna ask anyway...Is it possible to ask an alignment shop to only adjust your steering wheel/tracking?

Reason I ask is I paid $120 for an alignment recently and they finally got me perfect numbers, and of course after wheeling this weekend my steering wheel is now off to the left.

I have a lifetime deal with Firestone that I rarely use because they generally suck at doing custom numbers, I'm wondering if I can take it to them (so I don't have to pay for it) and only have then fix my tracking/crooked steering wheel. I don't want them touching my caster numbers because they always put them within stock specs.

I guess the safest thing to do would be to bring it back to the shop that just did it.

 

Its a process getting more,
1 pound of boost equals to about 10-12 extra horsepower

 

I only make 6 (stock for the v6)...even after the 7th injector I didn't see the advertised "20% increase" or whatever it was supposed to add. I'm still on the stock pulley though

 

I found a Firestone shop with a new alignment machine and my alignments have been dead on perfect now with them

 

Its always the caster they screw up for me, I need 3 degrees to clear my larger tiresbut they always put it between 1 and 1.5 since that's technically in the green...3 is in the red according to Toyota specs. But I rub under 3.

I'll just take it back to the shop that did it and hope it doesn't cost me another $120. I trust Firestone out here like I trust a sushi restaurant in the middle of the desert

 

It’s harder for me since I’m in California. I have the URD High Boost pulley, and what I did was sandblast the red anodizing, bondo’d away the ID engravings, and painted it black so it looks stock.

 

If u have a smaller pulley just be careful to make sure your AFR are perfect with fuel management or you will destroy the motor

That’s concerning... haha. I’m running the 2001-2004 pink injectors too which deliver fuel differently than the stock ones.

I’ve been running 91 for the past two weeks so it flushed the 87 out of the system.

 

You might be fine then with just the larger pink injectors...I don't know if adding methanol will make you run rich though like the 7th injector would since its spraying fuel.

If anything you'll be running rich which isn't nearly as bad as running too lean...too lean is what you really want to look out for but too rich isn't good either.

 

I “ran lean” every three weeks because the K&N would coat the MAF with soot and told the ECU it was lean.

So I got rid of it.

Think I’m going to order the snorkel.
