What’s the price on that? I was looking for a
couple of tractor trailer rims so I can have someone at work weld them together, one stop the other. I was thinking of doing fieldstone around it to conceal it. Called a couple bone yards and got a price for $75 per each. I said they don’t need to be perfect. I’m not putting tires on them.
    I started this

Much more digging to do. Was gonna do a square and thought a bob cat would help for that and some stumps.
See all those rocks? Using those for a border. Got them free from the business next to where I work and there is more too!
Will go about three or four inches feel with stone

This is "The Pit" for us..... :D

With the tight work area , these Old New Holland wheels fit perfectly ….

Now if I could stop the "large boat wakes" from washing the blocks off, life would great :hattip:

Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms...

Everyone get out there and enjoy your SUNDAY :yay::yay::yay:

If you want semi truck/trailer rims, go to the tire shops that service semi trucks. Often enough you can get bent or otherwise unserviceable rims for the asking. They usually get more than they want to deal with but not enough to make a run to a recycler and they take up valuable space. Sometimes they'll have larger equipment rims if you want something bigger than a 24.5" rim.

Do you have a Stratham Tire or Sullivan Tire truck center near you ???? They might have "wrecked or bent" full size wheels on the Cheap.... Just a thought...

I have an old grader tire & rim at work I'm going to use eventually. For now I just have the old washer drum. We don't do fires very often though.

From the looks of the size of it a quarry dump truck rim might work.

Wife wants labor for Mother’s Day ( really no biggie, just looking for something to complain about) really looking forward to seeing how it come out. All I want for Fathers Day is put my Go fast hat on and transport myself quickly to wherever I decide to go fishin. Will probably be surf casting for stripers .
This should take a couple of weeks as I will pick out what stone I want to use and find a good price. 2 yards is all I will probably need and if it’s close enough I will save money on the delivery fee and go get it myself at half yard loads.
Painting kitchen will be done in between this. Paint samples are on every wall . I can’t have have that ,Driving me nuts!

Oh, and my wife botched a double batch of brownies! This obviously is working in my favor. I was instructed to take it to work. This I will happily do:bananadance:

There's a gold mine north east of Glamis with few of those. They bring the new tires in on a low bed with a "Wide Load" sign. They hang over the trailer bed pretty good.

This new engine build is getting $$ !!!!

Late last night I realized the headers I currently have are to small in primary pipe and collector size . Also the exhaust ports in the new heads are raised 1" .

Now I've got to step up from 1-3/4 to 1-7/8 Primary pipe and that also means going larger collectors
