    Yeah it is in the correct direction. My working angles are low. From TC, 4.1 — 2.9 — 1.1

    The correct way to setup a 2-piece driveshaft with 3 single u-joints is, 0-equal-equal.

    The alternative method is, equal-0-equal. This basically mimics a one-piece driveshaft with 2 single u-joints. This, as you know, requires a carrier drop. IMO, the angle of the carrier drop should be considered, to avoid binding the bearing.

    What was your first working angle before the carrier drop?

    Simple mods
    I know this but if you have a warp rear axle it will still shudder or vib no matter how perfect your angles are.

    True...but his working angles, if correct, are horrible.

    Method 1, 0-equal-equal, is out of the question since from factory Toyota sets this up at an angle. You could modify the carrier bearing cross member to get it to zero but can't see myself doing that

    My best attempt would be to go for method 2, equal-0-equal.

    There's a third method and that is a net zero of all 3 working angles considered which I learned from 4crawler.com. This is what I am trying to shoot for which for my situation of 4.1 — 2.9 — 1.1 should be pretty close but I guess it doesn't work or most likely I am misunderstanding this method.

    First angle before the CB drop was 3.3

    After some thought, Method 3 would work but not in my case. The example 4crawler has up works, 2 - 4 - 2, because it cancels out in both directions which is a crucial point I left out when considering my setup. :facepalm:
