    Mine looked more like a tarantula, but the gray/black color pattern and short hair didn’t quite match up with anything I’ve seen. I don’t think we have trap door spiders here but the burrow hole was about the size of a nickel.

    Edit* it was a burrowing wolf spider, tend to be much darker and fairly large as far as wold spiders go. Similar to tarantulas but not nearly as cool, I will continue to kill them with fire.

    I’m sure they do as well, I just don’t like how fast they are. In hind sight maybe I should’ve left it in it’s burrow so it could kill the other spiders around.

    I have seen them here in the the deserts Ive found them underneath my ice chests in the morning. Few times now.
    Small because there are no camels here for them too feed on or anything of that size.
