Don’t have any great shots of it yet since I still need wheels and tires. But this is how it stands now.

I love the way it turned out. It’s in between the OEM silver on our 1st gens and the magnetic gray on 2nd and 3rd gens.

1300 with door jams. Nothing under the hood was touched. If I remember right it was like $1100 without the door jams.

Like the bed of the truck? I took the bedliner off before it got painted because they said they wouldn’t paint it. So I Herculined it myself which wasn’t too bad.

$5k+ and that was just to refresh my paint, take out the some marks, dents etc. Keep in mind my paint is not bad, there is no fading and the clear coat is still good. Not worth it in my opinion if you plan on using your truck for trails etc. I would think anything under $5k wouldn't last or the job (attention to detail) and quality would be lacking.

As far as I know I’m pretty sure the whole bed was taken off. Looking at it from the sides I don’t see any green so they must’ve.

If you wanted a very good job done typically it’s 600- 700 a panel.

Times that for what panels you want painted.

Most better paint jobs are 2 stage now

The wrap *should be* applied on paint or primer. Just make sure the surface is flat as the wrap will stick to whatever you put it on, and if there are rough patches under the wrap it could cause issues.

It scratches and awkwardly self heals. If you hit it with something sharp at the right angle, it will tear the wrap. There is 1 torn spot on my wrap from the bed caps digging into the bedsides. I can't say how easily it will rip, but I've pinstriped the hell out of it and there are no tears from that.

I do not have any suggested videos for you, although I'll make one for my Youtube channel (Socalexpeditions) sometime soon!

I had my hood repainted 2 months ago from when I painted it 3 years ago after I cut in the scoop.
Now the paint looks like glass and cost me 600 but looks absolutely amazing

Downfalls is that...Meh it tears? Can't say too much about real downfalls. Only lasts 3-5 years depending on how well you take care of it.

I got mine for substantially less than others will pay, but expect quotes upwards of $2,000.

Benefits are that when I'm over it and want to go back to my original color, I just peel the wrap off. It self heals when it gets scratched. Easy to take care of. Way, way more options for colors and color-shifting ones. If you get good at wrapping, you can change the color of your own car whenever you want.
