Little bit of this, little bit of that. :D

    Literally no recipe.

    This is what I did....

2.5lbs-ish of boneless/skinless thighs cubed up

2 small bags of stir fry veggies (not frozen)

Small can of chopped water chestnuts

Maybe a cup of frozen shelled edamame

    1/4 cup-ish orange ginger sauce from Soy-vay

    1/4 cup-ish Island teriyaki from Soy-vay

    “It’s incredible” seasoning to taste

Fry up the ckn and season with the “it’s incredible”. Salt/pepper would suffice

Cook up a pkg of noodles (I used sketti noodles)

When ckn is half done, toss the veggies on the other side to fry up. Give them a splash of water to help steam em up.

When ckn is cooked through and veggies have cooked, toss the noodles over it, stir it all up and pour sauce over and stir up.

Little more or little less, depending how saucy you want it.

I am not a good cook but you guys have inspired me to try a few things.

After about 5 weeks of cooking fresh Costco salmon about once a week, I think that I have it down now ...

I buy about a kilo of Costco Salmon with no antibiotics at $9.99 a pound on Tuesdays.

Then I season it (in the pan) with a tiny bit of olive oil in the pan bottom ... and with organic clover honey, black pepper and a good Mexican hot sauce basting it on top.

Place the top on it for about 3 minutes and remove it ... then cook in open pan and flip it 2 to 3 times and it comes out semi-blackened with crispy honey on the outside and very moist on the inside. :hungry:

Finally, cooked it fast at about 400F on the patio in an electric skillet and keep basting it with honey and black pepper on high heat without a lid.

I eat a meal of salmon when ready ... and then zip-lock bag and fridge the rest for consumption in the next 3 to 4 days.

I served it fresh out of the pan (its best fresh out of the pan ) to several people and they said ... it was the best salmon they had ever eaten :hungry:

I owe all my new found culinary skills to you guys on this thread ...

...^^^... I got on a healthy food kick about 3 years ago and learned to develop a taste for salmon. Had to experiment to get the taste that I liked tho.

After a false health scare 3 years ago .... I got into an exercise schedule .... then I cut way down on salt, sugar and carbs and ... now, I live on salmon, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, nuts, fruits and veggies first ... then I eat the normal foods.

One of the people that I served the salmon to was not a fish eater and she really liked it for its' non-fishy taste.

Same here, especially if there is some of that crusted cheese there. Lots of flavor and texture. :)
