I'm surprised I actually stuck to my financial plan of waiting til the summer time before finally going LT and putting the 35's on. Talk about mental fortitude. Shit.

This truck is getting the WERKS done on it!

I think we need a truck emoji like this one for LT reasons: :bikewhoops:

I really dig the blue wrap you did. That's a lot of patience to do it yourself. I don't know anything about wrapping, but definitely something I'd like to try one day. Without going off the deep end in questions, do you have anything you'd do different about the wrapping?

Thanks man! It definitely tested myself and my girlfriend almost every day we went into the shop to work on it.

Ask away dude! I could talk your ear off about our trucks!

One thing I would have done differently is ordering more material up front, and learning the trick to wrapping the back half of the camper and cab earlier so that way it would have been way smoother of a process. Also taking the bed off would have made wrapping in that cab/bed gap a lot easier too. But all of the other panels really wasn’t too bad. I can’t think of any other parts where it was that hard off the top of my head.

Damn man that was a hard lick! Looks like it bent the bumper in the center and kicked the sides out. Hope it doesn't total the truck.

So the bumper is solid. Only scuffed the powder coat and rotated the front of the bumper downward where Billy left some play for us to adjust the angle of the bumper. The swing out has a slight bow in it from where it gave way and smacked the tailgate and camper window. Frame looks good where the bumper mounts up and I checked it all past the shackle mounts and such. Nothing out of the ordinary on either side. Going into the shop tomorrow.

Pretty sure the BruteForce Bumper saved the truck. Other car got sent home on a flat bed lol

So I was in the right turn lane on a red light. The guy came around the bend to the light. Thought I had already made the turn, looked left and went to make the turn without looking right. Full force into the back of the truck. Maybe 25 mph.

Hopefully his insurance is buying you a new shell/HC rear and all the fixings.

Might want to haggle with the insurance company to at least get the bumper re-PC then you can grind away around all the welds and check them then if any are cracked get paid for a new bumper. Glad you are OK and everything isn't torn to shit.

Truck looks great man. Glad the BFF rear protected you. I drooled over your truck at basecamp (as I did with alot of trucks). Didnt realize it was yours.

Yup. We’re already talking to our chiropractor now to get seen. Girlfriend says her back feels out of wack since we were both turned left looking at the incoming traffic when we got hit.

I think the shell is good, just shifted on the bed rails but we’ll know more when it gets inspected. Already contacted Billy and told him that this dude took BruteForce to the face and I came out on top.

Yeah I’ll make a big stink about it if the entire bumper doesn’t get replaced. Bare steel exposed to the elements and such lol
