Looking for some help. Im going to get a set of 17 inch 4runner TRD Pro rims for my SR5 Double Cab Short Bed 4x4. Not sure what size to go with. I just don't want to do any trimming and don't want any rubbing. I also am looking for some vinyl stickers to replace the center cap as I don't care for the red TRD lettering. If anyone has these on their truck and could help with some info i'd be very grateful. Chuck

Hey hey the man of the hour from yesterday. First, glad your date went well. 265/70/17 is what you want, 1 size up from stock and no rubbing.

May or may not rub the front flaps, but otherwise correct. Remove the front flaps if they rub and either trim or swap the flaps. No drama.

I have those wheels on totally stock suspension and the 265/70r17 fit with zero rubbing.

    This^^^

Also, they stick out about .4-.5” more than your stock wheels

I also did not prefer the red, so I used a matte black vinyl circle with gloss black overlay TRD

Nice. I love your black topper. I have MGM and think I want black topper. Wife thinks I'm crazy to not get same body color on top but my truck is blacked out and I think black would look good with my trd wheels.

Yeah I thought about going with 265/70/17 but I have a SR5 4x4 which I think sits a tad bit lower then the Sport and OR.

Mine is a Limited. Not sure exactly, but I know my ride height is lower than the Sport and OR.

Thanks for asking this, I will be needing this info hopefully by summers end. Including covering up the red TRD. Only difference is I’m in a sport.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the red. I've lived with it for a while now, but I'd be very interested in vinyl covers like SpeySquatch posted.

I've got a 2019 TRD Sport DC 2-wheel drive... would like to get some black TRD 17" rims and currently have the Firestone Destinations - 265/75R17. will those tires fit the OEM TRD 17" rims, or will I need to come up with some more cash for tires also?
