So decided to do a 2 yr lease on my truck since I'm still paying off my rav4. I'm going to mod it up lightly for simple function and aesthetics. But I know me by the time my buy out is up I'll probably get a new one depending on circumstances. So I don't feel like dropping 400+ dollars on some step bars. Was looking at options on eBay and wondering if anyone here has any and how they are holding up? Thanks :)

Yeah I've been looking, that and Craigslist. I found some nfabs but they are like 1.5 hours away and 200 bucks :/ other then that everything has been quite a ways away unfortunately

We are probably competing for the same craigslist Tacoma parts.

Thinking i just pull the trigger on these ebay ones. Im also in a lease and dont need anything for offroading. Just something to help my short ass get in the truck and fill in the bottom part of the truck.

I learned the hard way with those, 6 months later they’re rusting. I just ordered some RCI rock sliders, I’d definitely recommend getting something a little nicer

Lol yeah probably. I was looking at those. I found some predator ones somewhere in NJ but still a hike ugh. That's why I'm wondering if I want to spend an extra hundred on something or put that money to something else

Had the exact same steps on my 19 OR. They are fine and does the job long as you're not overly picky about the quality. Sold them (got my money back) and replaced it with OEM cast aluminum steps/door ding protector that I found on CL for $50.

Got any pics of the ebay steps on the truck from further away?

If i could get the OEM ones for under $200 id definitely go that route. Good find.

Best I have. For the price, it's good enough.

Thanks. They look decent enough for $100. Really just need something to fill in the under part of the truck.

Nice that's the same truck I'm getting lol. Now I know how they'll look. Yeah looking more for something to hop on to to reach the roof and door protection. I have the side pieces on my rav4 not sure if they function well or not for that purpose

Hilarious. Guys got a $40K work truck and panics over a scrape on a black metal part. It must be the principle.

No panic, just asked for a refund. And it is principle, you buy something new, you expect it to be decent shape.
