I have an 04 Tacoma with a 3 inch lift in the front using spacers and a 2 inch lift in the rear using spacers I’m trying to get it to 5-6 inches Bc my 33x12.5r15s scrub when I hit a bump while turning off-road. I can’t trim anymore bc there’s nothing left to trim. I know how a few ways to lift the rear such as shackles and add a leaf but the front is where I’m having issues. What’s a good way to lift the front end 2-3 inches without spending a lot of money

If I trim anymore I’ll be cutting into the cab of the truck and I rather not have to do that. I have 2 inch adapters on the wheels and Ik that effects where they would normally scrub at vs where they actually do make contact.

If you can, take the adapters off or get wheels with the right backspacing. 33s should fit witb trimming and a 3 inch lift easily.

I don’t think it’s the rims I think it’s the adapters but in order to remove the adapter I have to get new rims bc I have 5x5.5 on the truck and it’s 6x5.5 stock

Yes you need new wheels. It will be very difficult to stop rubbing with a 2 inch adapter behind your wheel. New wheels will be the cheapest and in this case the best way to prevent rubbing.

For sure the spacers. you made your turning radius 2 inch wider. I'm running 285/70/17 with a 2 inch lift and a little trimming.

Just remember, you get what you pay for.

You really can't just throw more spacers at your problem. You will destroy your CVs (assuming you have a 4x4) if you try to lift it more than the 3", and you likely won't be able to get it aligned either.

If you want to lift it more than 3", you really need to be looking at a bracket style lift. Stacking lifts (adding another lift on top of your current lift) is really a terrible way to go, and you'll end up with more problems than you started with.

But as others said, you shouldn't even have to do all that if you've done a "proper" job of lifting it in the first place, using the proper offset/backspacing wheels.

Ditch the adapters and run proper 6-lug wheels.

Search around for the setups other people have done to fit their 33's and copy that.
