The colors lighten as my coolant flush progresses. In the photo, the far left jug is unused distilled water (just thrown in for reference).

I'm installing a new radiator, radiator cap, and silicone hoses from LCE Engineering tomorrow. Have pure distilled in the radiator still (fresh from this evening's flush and refill post motor cooling). Was going to run around some of the day with distilled then flush once more before the install.

How far have other owners gone to see clearish results with their coolant flushes?

I go to things come out clear but most times the coolant I start with is much worse then yours.

Drain fill with water run long enough for thermostat to open repeat till fluid comes out clean might be 3 cycles could be 5 each time is different

Some folks don't even do it halfway. You did it alot, seeing how you got this far do it until it comes as clean as the far left one (or close).

Good job man your cooling system will thank you. Don't forget to replace the thermostat with an OEM one and replace any hoses that are too soft to the touch.

Thanks! I had a 180 degree thermostat from LCE Engineering put it when the water pump and timing belt were done two weeks back (a job and tools I wasn't ready to sink my teeth into yet). I'll flush at least once more.
