    While I agree that the ending has seemed rushed (an extra 2 episodes would have helped I think) it’s still been epic every single episode! I don’t know why everyone is so bent out of shape.

    Amazing episode. Not sure how dany vs boats 2.0 was so much more successful this time around.

    Oh yeah I know, because she was pissed. Drogon seemed to have more fire than ever too. To match the pissedoffedness level.

    They wanted to kill a dragon for fun and push the story faster than logical. It was a miserable device made even more laughable by them not missing three times in a row with the new scorpions.

    They pivoted her to the mad queen in a few episodes after building her up for 7 to be the savior of Westeros. I like the pivot and saw it coming a mile away, but for the shows insane attention to detail and development, it’s off pace.

    Best episode of this season, tho.

    Glad they included an explanation of Daeny’s and Jon’s conversation where she says, “I choose fear” in the after the episode stuff.

    I rewound that a bunch of times and still couldn’t hear what she said.

    Once I heard it, the entire episode made sense
    she snapped and became the tyrant she was destined to be.

    Well, kind of sad to see it go down like this after all. I guess the moral of the story is, there are no good Targaryens... ever. Jon being the exception because he is not a pure bred.

    I don’t even blame Cersei. They rang the bells. Dany had her chance to take the throne and be the savior like she was before she came to westeros. I’ve never turned on a character so fast in a show before. My wife just kept yelling “someone stop her” the whole time she’s burning up the city :eek:

    Edit: I flipped on greyworm too. I was ready for Jon to put him down as well

    It’s hard to follow who “has claim” to the throne. I think the pecking order would currently be Jon then Dany then I guess Gendry but the Baratheon reign wasn’t legitimate if their were still Targaryens left to begin with, so it’s really up for grabs if Jon and Dany both die...

    Dany needs to die now. Jon will still not want the throne and retire North to live with the wildlings. Sansa and Tyrion will remarry and they will rule the iron throne. Gendry will run track & field for Westeros U.

    Amen to the flipping on characters. I knew I didn't want Dany to rule, but I always wanted her to be with John as he did. Now I just want her and Grey Worm DEAD. I thought we were going to get an epic John/GW battle especially after John killed one of their own to protect that woman.

    Man the scenes in the city were truly incredible..

    As soon as Jaime didn’t die from 2 gut stabs I knew he was going to make it to cersei and wouldn’t kill her. I told my wife they would have a Romeo and Juliet Death moment. Somehow they had the truer love story than any other characters in the show :puke:

    idk I feel like the building collapse was one of the worst deaths she could've been given. because all of it was caused by her own mistake. not because others were better than her, but because she was too stubborn in her own ways/thoughts to save herself and her child. she is 100% to blame for her childs death, which is all she wanted to save.
