Seriously. My bumper, skids, and side bars are made in America and I got a pretty good deal on all of it. Group buys, and BAMF flash sales. I went to both.

 

Anyone else not able to find the bumper on eBay anymore?

 

Just contact the seller via Ebay and they will adjust quantity. They were "out of stock" when I was ready to buy, 24hrs later they had my money.

I just snipped the ends off the stock harness an connected them together. Haven’t had any issues other than can’t keep the fog lights straight.

 

I was going to do this, but knew I'd be taking it off more than once for alignment (done this 3x already) and winch install. I'm sure I need to pull it again, if/when I go to 35s to remove or cut fenders and flares.
So, that's why I used connectors between the fogs and bar to their harnesses.

 

Makes sense I use connections as well the spade kind I should have clarified.

I just saw one in person from another user locally. They LOOK good. Welds are crappy but they look like they’ll hold. D-Ring mounts don’t look like they are designed for ANY towing or pulling. Mostly aesthetic. I’d say if you are buying the bumpers purely for looks and don’t plan on using them to tow or pull anything, they may actually been a good buy. The good thing about the rear bumper is it maintains the stock tow hitch. And fit wise, they do pretty well. Cause I’ll be honest, I’ve seen the high dollar premium bumpers that sometimes have fitment issues that aren’t perfect.

Hadn't had the best of luck with butt or spade connectors with my Wolo horn in the past, so I wanted to do it "right".

 

Nice I’m just lazy an that’s what I had on hand.

 

This was also me when I was doing the horn. Took the connectors and wire to corrode 4x before I changed my ways. Knew better, but didn't give maximum effort.
Horn is now under the hood and soldered directly.

 

You saw someone with this rear bumper with the factory hitch installed?

I was referring to a different Chinese knock off that I saw.

Different company I know. But same shit from China. This one allows the use of the factory hitch.

 

I’ve got a buddy who has this one at work, and he regrets it big time. It’s super bulky and the "tow points" are just for looks as their just surface welded to the face of the bumper (He took his D- Shackles off out of shame haha)

 

I have this rear bumper, I was wondering what he saw...sounds like it was a different rear bumper entirely.

 

I’m sorry dudes. I let you down. I pulled the trigger......on a Trail Gear Rock Defense </3......I do still plan on taking one of these rear bumpers tho
