Thanks for the input. I have my 80 and I love it. I regret selling my 60, but it had problems I didn't want to deal with, and I really want another. I have an opportunity to trade my 80 for a high mileage, rebuilt motor, very minimal rust, petty straight 60. I'm really on the fence about it. I think its almost too nice for what I do. Not that I rock crawl or anything but I like the 80 because its a little rough around the edges. I don't have to worry about brush scratches or a little ding here or there. I worry if I get it I'll end up not going places because I don't want to tear it up.

Ah I see. That 60 was fucked... that was Drews right? The one that was like 2 cabs welded into one?

I say keep the 80, and if you want a 60 buy one a little rougher and LS swap...

Otoh you do have a sxs, not like you really need to push either cruiser hard off road.

Yeah that one was a real peach. I got it running but never really drove it. Once I found out it was a twoferone I ditched it.

I've thought that too. The sxs sucks in the winter though. I figured you'd be completely anti 80 right now.

Haha I knew it was a pos when I bought it. Thankfully I’m me and I have the means to fix it. I mean you basically should know going into an 80 that theyre all super neglected and also kind of uhhh fussy needy turd piles. Anyway I wasn’t surprised so whatever. Headgasket isnt a big deal as long as it doesn’t turn into more more and more. I’ll do heater hose non-sense and maybe oil cooler. The rest is getting left alone.

Looks like Toyota raided the plumbing section at Home Depot to make them. Hopefully the hole in the fender is the same place as ARB so it can be easily replaced.
