It doesn’t work that way. Should’ve waited to create the post until you had the pictures. I mean I’m pretty sure the B/S/T rules specifically address that exact scenario.

Hauled my first bed load of stuff this weekend! Helping my GF move back from college

There’s a small desk, 2 full size dog crates, storage bin, large box of pantry items, 2 full size suit cases, a trash can, a vacuum, and a 60lb bag of dog food in there. Who says 5ft beds can’t fit all that much??

    Threw on the Prinsu rack.

Was a long process trying to do the clean hole drill method. Ended up cutting into sections. Hope my silicone sealed well. When you put the rack on top it moves the spacers a bit. Time will tell.

@Truck Brigade on the hook up with free shipping.

thanks, I had ordered some of this (see pic below) that looked very similar (B shape) to what has been there keeping dirt, water and tree droppings out for 2+ decades
this stuff was not 3M stuff and it is not tall enough to completely seal with hood down, plus I would not trust the adhesive tape on this to stay put for another 20yrs
but it looked B shaped like this, I know that much
I always took for granted it was there since day 1, never thought it would disappear (no pics of compartment before handing over keys to bodyshop)

taco-5-12-19.jpg Another quick wash and wax. So easy now since I picked up a power washer and foam cannon. Also Meguiar's Ceramic makes application no more difficult than toweling of the truck as you would normally do.

    A few MOD's
Got the front windows tinted/filmed with ceramic 40, has UV protection of 99% which is what I was looking for and not actually a dark tint due to skin cancer issues. Recommended by my dermatologist, cant tell much from the outside but I sure can on the inside the sun is not as hot on my face without it, may look at getting the clear on my front windshield too.

i like to keep out the dirt, dust, water overspray from washing, rain, tree droppings, cotton, etc.
Makes it much easier to keep it all relatively clean inside and not looking nearly as old as it is :)

some dust and that still comes in from underneath, but is minimal and easier to keep cleaner

i called the dealer that I bot this from long ago and they have no records of what they added on back then as this is a non-standard Toyota part

Sorry for the late reply but i built the Front Bar and hoop from several different pieces. I ordered the front bar off of Ebay for 30$ it holds 4 lights with brackets for 2016 and up Tacoma. I then ordered a hoop bar off of ebay for 60$. I had to go to lowes to by a 30 inch piece of steel 19$ bucks flat and i drilled 4 holes to match the light bar and bolted the hoop to the plate i made. After getting alignment i had 2 mounting holes left for lights, so it worked out pretty nice and I painted the intire thing black textured to match my basket

Test fitting the terminal block and bus bar mounting tray. Remotely mounted the S-Tech Universal 6 Switch system on the passenger side of the bay, since space is at a premium due to the clutch fluid reservoir. Shout out to @JLee and @jberry813 for saving the trays and getting it out to me.
