I also put some miles on the 02, but not for the train.

I don’t think I’ll get in trouble here

Frank a manual or an auto? I have a new oem auto trans mount that I ordered like an idiot and have no use for, I would sell at half price just to be rid of it. Think I paid $80 for it. Have to look

I have Bozen mounts for Frank. I have the 4xinovation tranny mount in there now. I'm just gonna use Frank's oem mount in the little truck for now. Eventually I'll swap the 4xinovation one over.

Igor is the only auto I own. Don't you have an auto?

Sorry I'm using Frank's oem mounts to replace the little trucks.

And yes I do haha 90° in the summer man. And you know how hot cabs get. I don't like driving windows down at 70mph

Nope, I was trying to order a manual one using the KDN185 model schematics when I was buying other diesel parts and forgot there was only an automatic released.

    Fuck that haha

And sorry but it's just a thing the bearings do. I've never seen someone install one and have it not chirp.

Think the only way to make it not is to adjust the pedal so it's never 100% off but like 99.95% on so nothing is really effected

Just got home and saw End Game. IDk how much youyguys follow the Marvel stuff but wow. Quite an ending.

But got home and quickly jumped in the little truck and it fired right up. I think the fuel filter was the main culprit. But glad it works

Hey guys, I have a few questions that I was hoping you all might have answers to. So, a while back my GF and I started the whole NPS trip thing and in July we'll be heading north from New Mexico to RMNP, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone. Our tentative plans at the moment are to go from RMNP (Grand Lake) to Grand Teton (Moose) with a stop overnight in Lander.

    Questions:
    - How do you guys feel about that route? Would you go a different way?
    - Sites to see along the way?
    - Would you stop somewhere other than Lander? Of course, we won’t be there long but seems like there is a least a brewery/bar there. Just looking for a place that we can grab food/a few drinks, and play some cards before hittin the rock.

    Thanks!
    Taco505/Alex

If you go Farson to Lander, you can do the Atlantic City detour, if you go Rawlings to Lander you can do the green mtn.’s and split rock detour. Lander is a good place to stop either way. Once you get on the west side of togowotee, there is far less cool off-road stuff to do.

Yeah I don't know either. But pretty much every 5spd I've been around does it. Annoying to say the least.

Me too. Can't wait to start driving it again instead of Igor every day. Just hit 233341 miles today.

Lander is a great spot to stop. Gannet Grill is probably one of the best spots to eat. Think there is a brewery right next to it or something. Brett can tell you for sure as he lives there.

You're trying to see RMNP and Teton all in one day?

    Wow.

Awesome that's helpful I'll take a look into those routes

Haha wouldn't that be a task! Anyway were most interested in Grand Teton and have a backcountry permit in death Canyon so we'll spend a couple of days in that area. RMNP is more of just a stopover as we've been there before but I'd like to do the Old River Falls Road which I haven't had the time to do in the past. We're not super interested in Yellowstone but would be really dumb not to spend some time there considering we're so close so we'll be there for a day and a half at least.

Yellowstone is worth the visit while you're there. Be busy that time of year but still a cool place.

Sounds like a good trip though!

LOL hell no! It had 149k when I bought it in 2013 May. I've put almost 30k on it in a year since the timing belt.

Oh ya fully expecting the shit show of crowds but gotta make the most out of the vacation time we were able to get haha.

this is more or less our plan

    RMNP - 1 day
    Grand Teton - 2.5/3 days
    Yellowstone - 1.5 days
    Canyonlands - 0.5 day
    Arches 0.5 day
Canyonlands and Arches are going to be way too hot to do anything productive so just going to hit a couple of short trails and stop at an Arch or two.

well a half day in canyonlands will be enough to make you want to come back..several times. Which district are you going to run through?
