Not sketchy unless person you're dealing w/ is sketchy (usually).

443 IS the PMR trail/dirt road/thingy. And yes, you do drive through the parking lot and keep going.

Yeah... Like wtf?! It took him 3 days to respond the last time, and I just said "give me your cell and Ill respond to this on text." That set something off with him lol

Not sure if I am allowed to directly quote him from a PM on here, but he said something to the sort of 'Im pulling the plug on this, I have never had anyone ask for my cell of the dozen transactions Ive done on here. Good luck on finals and with everything.'

I even went out of my way to get a box to ship them to him...

link him to all the replies.
All the guys that had helped me out ended up finishing the transaction via text or phone call. If he backed out he prob got a better deal somewhere else or was never really in the market for them.

    This was real sketch

I feel like just be upfront about it & say you got a better deal elsewhere if that's the case

Yep, just sent that to him. Next time I ask for a cell I am not going to just be like "shoot me your cell and ill respond to all this, its easier" and I am going to elaborate a bit more... Thanks guys

Depends on the context but as long as the person seems legit, that's not weird at all. I just bought a set of LCA's and we only exchanged a couple messages on here, I asked him for pics and he asked for my cell to send them to. I didn't hesitate and we continued the transaction via text.

Thats weird. As long as you weren't being creepy about it idk why he would get so paranoid

I mean I have done the same thing a million times and never had an issue with it, and at one point it took him like 3 days to respond, and at one point it took me like 2 days to respond so I figured text would be easier. I had like 3 buyers from the first few hours so it is not a huge deal.

Yeah, clearly he didn't want to buy it that badly

It is the weatherstripping for the top, and if I remember correctly he said he wanted them to use as spares. Apparently so

If anyone on here IS leery about giving out their phone number, check out google voice. I use it for all online sales except here.

That seems like a good alternative. The only other place that I buy/ sell locally is Facebook marketplace and I never give out my phone number for Facebook transactions. Facebook messenger is convenient enough

Haha had just told Steiner this via text as well. Use my gvoice number as burner and then switch to my "car phone" which is my real cell.
