Flags on Trucks

This is a message for all you motivators telling people where they can and cannot put flags on their trucks.

Please STOP. The rules for flags on automobiles are vague and I doubt anyone on this site actually has the power to make them. Obviously do not disrespect the flag but no where does it state that you can't have the flag under a badge or other logo. If that were the case I would have to rip everything out of the inside of my truck as all those logos sit above the flag I have on my truck.

If you want to argue, click the first link. I do not care what you have to say. With that said, do not try to argue with me as I probably will not respond.

I simply have a flag pole for my hitch when I feel like being patriotic

I have no issue where you put them. What I DO care about is orientation.

Guy had his pax side flag backwards (displayed properly when static) and I tried to politely point that out. Then tried to debate me about it. ALSO tried to tell me my sleeve patch on my jacket was backwards.

My sleeve patch was the standard reverse patch. V

 

Did I miss something? The only time I've ever seen anything brought up about the proper display of a flag decal, was when someone had the flag going the wrong way on the passenger side door.

 

Followed by a FOD walk down? Ahh, the memories...lol

No I think it is the OP that is missing a few things.

 

Nah, he was just a guy that didn't know when to admit he was incorrect. I decided to drop it cuz he wasn't gonna change his mind.

Even offered to give him a set I had (in the truck at the time) for free just to have them display right.

I missed the controversy but I have a greyed out American flag with Texas flag on opposite side.
