    I've run Toyota trucks since I was 16. I have learned one thing so far. Buy them at the end of the generation and the bugs are worked out. Been a solid philosophy so far. The only downside is everyone else has a nice new looking truck compared to your dated one. I like reliability though as I am definitely not a mechanic. The sonar technology scares the shit out of me. I like applying the brakes myself.

    I miss my 2nd gen but my 3rd gen has perks of its own. I've never had it try to auto-brake and I drive like an asshole.

    exactly why the technology scares the shit out of me. I have a lot of Amish and box trucks on rural routes for my commute in. It isn't uncommon to make a turn and have something going 30mph slower than you. I am more concerned with it slamming the brakes and then getting rear ended though. Who knows I figure they will have a delete figured out by the time I need to worry about it.

    We are. We have taken my truck to the dealer 5 times over the course of about 30-60 days, and the service manager and the technician came out to the house once within that time period.

    @Taco critter

    1 visit was for whining(rear diff replaced at 960 miles), 4 visits were for popping/clicking noises from the rear. Was just told that was a “characteristic” of the vehicle despite it not starting until after they replaced the rear diff. The time they came out we also discussed the passenger seat, stumbling transmission, and possible chattering leaf springs. The 7th visit today(tow truck delivery to dealer as SM said to not even start the truck again, even to check if warning light is still there) is regarding a stuttering motor, then low oil pressure light going on and then off. It’s a sad sight boys and girls... tow truck driver literally couldn’t believe my story. 9D66069A-168D-4D8E-A9F2-EA8992D9DA82.jpg

    My coworker has a 2018 TRD offroad DCSB, or maybe 19, I'm not sure. He has been having a problem with the around the vehicle sensors. Whatever sensors are for backing up and the side sensor things. He has had it fixed 3 times now and started the process for a lemon. They're giving him such a run around. It's disgusting. They even had some engineers come out to look at it. He's apparently the only one in the country with this problem. The last time it was "fixed", the replaced EVERYTHING having to do with the sensors because they have no clue what's going on. Even after that, the lights came on one day, but went away. I'm not sure where he stands at this point. That was a couple weeks ago.

    Mobtown biggest issue is customer service. I've read posts upon posts of the same bullshit. They don't reply to anyone, but they will give a half hearted excuse of being so damn busy. As far as I'm concerned, if you're not going to bother to reply to paying customers, then you sure as shit better be pumping out products left and right. But since their lead times are often way off, what can they possibly be doing? Perhaps going down to Windrock in Tennessee and blowing up the engine in 12 inches of water? Hmmm good idea when you have shit piling up.

    Take it somewhere else. They don’t know what they are doing. Or talk to the sales manager and figure out a new truck

    Nice! I also have a cabin & usually have a to-do list also. But doing chores on the property is relaxing to me. It's nice being up there in the mountains of WV and out of Baltimore, even if it is just for a weekend.

    Good luck with that water, maybe try cranberry or rice at this point.

    There are other commercial mixes out there for bees. Check the local garden centers or HD, etc.
