MFG is pretty similar to the '15 4.0L - might even be better.

    F&*% the Ridgeline... Just saying.

    ^^See above comment...^^

I think that is what I was thinking I would need to do to help with it...

Light trolling is acceptable. :) But yes, carwash is the time where I can get away from the chaos of life... "Honey! I'm gonna run out and get a carwash... These dust particles are causing corrosion."

Oh bless your heart you have one of those situations. As an above poster suggested, make the helmet. It will also help indoors when things get pushy. I have one for work.

Oh My God. I have now heard of 6 really smart people in my life. Was wondering if I'd EVER run across another before dying.

I would say "don't drop pressure washers on your roof" but that would be snarky.

Try washing your Taco yourself and that way you won't be inside. Those "touchy feely" car washes suck anyway. They don't do a good job, they don't clean the wheels and they always seem to leave a dirt pinstripe on the tailgate.

I thought that too when I read the title but then I remembered no one uses a truck as a truck anymore.
It's always something like "My asswiper smears it all over, not what I expected".

I like the sound of a pressure washer. Also like the smell of motor oil and the feel of 10 ply mud tires on the highway.

Maybe that’s why I haven’t noticed it. I put dynamat in my bike helmet to make it more comfortable when I started wearing it daily since elementary school. I just wish they could make something to make my mouth piece more comfortable

IDK, OP, my 18 is pretty quiet going through the car wash and I have a sunroof. No louder than any other vehicle I have owned. Have you been through different washes? Maybe that one had the pressure washer tip a bit close.

It sounds like you’re trying to fit too much of the mouth piece inside all at once.

    This!

You won't hear the roof noise, you won't get missed spots that the shitty car washes give, and you also get your "quiet time". If you really love your truck, you'll do it in your driveway and get better results, and the satisfaction of not wasting $10 on soap and water every time you feel the need to get it cleaned.

Unless you are dead-set on going through the car wash, then go with the aforementioned "dynamat helmet", which should be patented.
