1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
Ordered motor mounts from ruffstuff along with another 63 swap kit. Ordered a oil pan kit for the solid axle swap and have a flat pitman arm coming from sky.

Just IMHO, but I still think you should either leave it 4 linked at the factory locations with beefed up links and 12-14" coilovers with the mounts from 4WU, or three-link it with longer links and 14" coilovers. As it sits right now, the 4 link factory setup with rubber bushings and short links, not heims and misalignment bushings on longer links, will out-flex 63s...at least, I'm pretty sure mine will, though maybe the OEM springs and shocks won't.

Sure, it'd be a bit more expensive, but you're putting tons and 40s under a 3rd Gen T4R, 3 linked in the front; you're going all in on the front so you might as well go all in and link the rear too, especially since it's already linked stock.

Let me borrow your card. Front coilovers were 1300 let alone the brackets and link material/ rod ends

That kit you mentioned is for a pickup not a 4 runner

Edit. Guess it is but not a fan of it.

Also let’s toss a 35 on it and see if we can drop a 35 below the body line to compare drop

I just can't accept how low the coilovers mount on the axle in that kit. I get they are trying to keep the bed intact and not go through the floor but still

They have them for pretty much every Toyota up to the 04 Taco, including the 3rd Gen T4R...just click on the "bracket configure" and then hit the drop down menu under "Frame type" and you'll see the '96-'02 T4R option.

32vs35. Plus I’m putting in a completely different axle. Leafs are going in and maybe one day I’ll swap to coilovers and a 4 link. Move the gas tank to the back of the axle using the f150 tank I’ve seen multiple people use

Fair enough. But I'd like to point out, Natty's travel is only limited by the shocks and coils, and you have a wider axle which would make the low side even lower at full articulation. And there's only an inch and a half difference in radius between 35s and 32s. ;)

On a semi-related note...Jeebus, what a turn around; I hated coils when I was younger and I loved leafs. Everything was easier and cheaper with leaf springs. Now, here I am advocating for coils over leafs. o_O

:duel::goingcrazy: Me and side work. Want to slow down but can’t. I’ve have one set of sliders left I just picked up from powder coating. 2 lift installs and multiple cab mounts to do.

4Runner has been running higher then I want temps. 198*. Found out that Toyota wants the jiggle valve at 6 instead of 12 like I’ve always installed them on others. Lots of talk about this I guess with the 3.4

Will be doing some cleaning in the garage to pull the 4 runner in this week. Stay tuned
