Cool I will think about it, I'm looking at another mount that you don't have to remove the wheel.

Get these instead. I have them and they are rock solid. Best quality mount you can buy.

    Way better IMHO.

Those "leave the wheel on" carriers never seem to be as stable. Not sure what kind of bike you have, but if you've got something worth any $$$$, I'd take the extra 10 seconds to take off the wheel and use the more stable mount.

What other "leave the wheel on" carriers are there?

Not sure for our truck, I just mean "leave the wheel on" carriers in general. I've used both types in previous cars in an on top of room format. The fork mounts were much more stable.

Cool, well I'm glad I made the decision to go with the Thule rack.

    Congrats OP

Matt you can get these now for about 49 bucks...I am thinking of getting some and that is the cheapest price right now. I think a few weeks ago I saw them for 45.99.

Thats really weird... I did buy the SD's from Alfred E and they were around $45 something...maybe they went up in price?

Honestly, between our two links I can't tell the difference in the pictures of the parts. Same part #?

Edit: Hmm...different part numbers... AR8041 vs AR8044.. I'll look around.
