An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
Put me down on the "possibly interested depending on price" list.

    Interested also.

It took me a few days to realize this would work nicely with charcoal. Easy and multipurpose.

Theres a dude that goes by firetofork on IG and youtube that swears by these types of grills for cooking in the bush.

    Nice!

A friend travels with his weber kettle for unimproved camping. It is a lot of setup and teardown. We also did steaks over a log fire. They turned out just great. It will be fun to cook both ways and use the coals for a nice fire afterward.

    Thanks.

I've got a smaller version that I kinda swear by. Like, a lot.

The only problem with these fire pits, whether using wood or charcoal, is that they aren't allowed during most of the summer on the east side due to fire bans/restrictions. Last summer was real bad, they even banned shooting on all state and federal lands due to the extreme dry conditions.

That said, it's still pretty damn cool, and I might have to get one....

There was 3 weeks where you couldn't even have a gas grill. That sucked.

Just updated the original post. We're going another way with the group buy but should still work out quite nicely!

Yeah last couple summers were pretty crappy in terms of wild fires and burn bans. Idiots shooting fireworks in the woods in the middle of summer...

Interested depending on price. Any idea how long until you can handle these after the fire is out?

I'd be another one that's interested "depending on price". I'm on the wrong coast so shipping would also be a factor.

I'm gonna bump up the cut off to Sunday May 19th. That way Derrick can get started on the order first thing Monday.

Not entirely sure about the second question. @dcoursler any idea on this?

No issues with this group buy but we removed the TW logo option from the poll. We ask vendors not to use the name of the site on their products.

    Thanks

Derrick is @dcoursler ,the guy from Southern Xpedition. He contacted me with interest in doing the group buy, and quite frankly, I can't get the same product out for the price he's offering it at, especially when you throw in the cooking grate and carry bag. The original post has been updated with that info.

Just a heads up, that carry bag it comes with is like $100 by itself
