Just a couple of small welds left on the inside of the NWTI rear bumper, then start welding the exterior joints, and grinding to finish. At least I can weld a joint, and be grinding while the welder "rests", much more efficient use of time. Lots of loafing time up to now.

Yup sounds about right lol thankfully I rent a quarter acre with a 1 bedroom on it which is very rare in Torrance for only 1500 but I'm tired of paying someone else's mortgage.

It looks a little funky in that picture because it's a rough fit up. Sitting lower than it should and a little off kilter. Gonna get some new hardware before I get it all bolted up tight. I bought it as a DIY kit for about half the price it is in that link and welded it up myself. For some reason they dont show it on their website as a DIY kit right now. Just the rear bumper. But it's been great and is well worth the money, even at the full price if you dont know how to weld. I've bounced this thing off of so many trees and used it as a slider on rocks and trees and it has taken it all like a champ. Just has a slight bend in it toward the bottom but it doesnt affect fitful at all.

Sadly I have to find a bumper I like then redesign it as my truck has a one piece tundra front end that mounts to my bumper and also sticks out further then the stock front end

I bought one after the first of this year, as a DIY. I really like mine.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Or you can build your own. Mock it up with cardboard.

If you're going to have to cut and re-configure a bumper, I'm assuming you have access to what it takes to make metal cuts and welds.

I really like this one too. Just wish I had the fab skills when I built it that I have now. Probably going to buy another one and build it up a little better whenever I do a rear bumper sometime down the road. And definitely gonna do the grill and light hoops this time.

Gotcha, the stuff I posted in the 1 gallon jug isnt considered a mix to lower freezing temps, its just straight fuel like Race gas ect.

I actually prefer the 01-04 front end without any sort of hoops. The grille is too perfect to cover up imo. Not my truck, but you get the jist.IMG_4413_6977992a11fb2f8d36e15a42687868ad19f6c493.jpg

I like the front end too and that's why I rocked it as is for so long. But it's time for a change.

I pulled that from this site when I first joined lol. My truck is the same color so it was kinda a goal but then I realized it cost money...
