that is good experience, = very valuable in getting the most of a truck. I learned "nice feet" on bigger trucks and vans first - many a van brick was pasted on a semi trailer rear plate! Young and not smart, but I stopped for gas a lot less with a packed van!

    Cracking me up!!
When I first got the truck, I went to buy a cheap calculator at Wal-Mart to just do gas mileage on fill up. Cheapo thing didn't work, and I returned it. Was pissed, until I realized my phone had one on it. :anonymous:

I had a paper feed adding machine in my office for doing quotes since the 80's. Until I got retired, I always turned around to the back desk to use it, instead of the one on the computer! :anonymous:

I have some leftovers from the kids in the garage. Just toys. Favorite was a hover craft, that was a riot in the pool! Rubber seals didn't like chlorine.... they will all be in the trash when I get on the garage in June!

Regearing may or may not help with hwy mileage. Its kinda of a shot in the dark imo. Really depends on how much of a constant load youve got on the truck, tire size, gear ratio, etc.

For example, it helped my 4cylinder about 2-3 mpgs on the hwy when i regeared from 4.10s to 4.88s with my 295/70/17s

On the other hand, in my v6 i regeared from 3.73s to 4.10s and stayed on the same stock sized tires, and it hurt my hwy mileage. I got 16 hwy before regearing and after i now get no more than 14hwy

Anybody got some 1" blocks and longer u-bolts laying around? Thinking about adding another inch or so of lift to my truck. My 33s are rubbing pretty bad with the smallest of flex even with a CMC done. Just gonna crank the icons up on the front up

If you're running dakars in the back look at my pictures of my taco I know give you an idea how much lift will get with a one inch blocked on top of dakar

I'm running the Allpros in the back currently and would like a little bit more lift. I'll check out the pictures, thanks for heads up. How long did you have to go for your ubolts to fit both pack and block?
