I've been wondering, what can I take off my 2007 taco and use on my 2019. I got a 3rd gen because I got rear ended by a semi so my 07 is sitting at home watching me go with my new taco. Both my tacos are dclb 4x4 so just wondering what I can pull off my 07 and use on my 19

If the drivers side storage cubby survived the accident you can add it to the 2019 if you cut the hole.

Funny they had the storage on the 18' and now they have it on the 2020' again! Just the 19' it went missing.

I wouldn't count on that being on the 2020 just yet, all the trucks they have shown so far have been prototypes and could just have a 2018 bed slapped on.

Spare suspension parts... LCA, spindles, UCA... if you're parting it out.

Here's an idea? I'm not sure just how much you can salvage? But since it's there? Why not make a full time offroad beast out of her? Is the engine and drivetrain ok? Hows the cab? How bad is the rear end?

Doesn’t make much sense to take shit off a 12 year old vehicle just to put it on a brand new one but if that’s the case...sell the 07 and use the cash to pay off the 19.

Who says they’re all old parts? OP could have newish parts installed on the ‘07 that are perfectly good.

Parts I took off/swapped from 2006 Prerunner to 2017 OR: 30k mile Fox coilovers, Icon rear shocks, RF speakers/subwoofer, bedmat, front rail, tie downs on torx bed bolts, random led lights, SCS rims, 32” KO2s, seat spacers, thats about it. Still have both trucks. It is hard to part with the 4.0 with 188k miles it still runs great I just needed/wanted 4wheel drive and a locker.

If only I had the time and money I would in a heartbeat. The engine was giving me issues before hand so I tried to drive it home but got hit on the highway. The hit gave my taco it's last run so got towed the rest of the way home. The cab is perfectly fine but the bed and frame bukled
