Getting your CDL is very easy. I did it on my own. No school or any of that nonsense...
You can literally download an app to study for the written test and pass easy. I even passed my HAZMAT test first go which erryone said would take a few trys. I got 100% on it.

Had to do the skills portion twice however, I did the typical thing most people do to fail the skills test first time. Miss ordered the leakdown test for the Air brakes.

Oh I have mine. It wasn’t hard at all.
I have all the endorsements but school bus and fire truck. (I’ll be getting fire truck later this year hopefully, volunteer fire department)

Isn't it crazy how much driving schools get away with charging for a CDL?

Yeah. A full school here can cost 5-6k with a promised job.

I knew a place so I rented his truck and went. The guy I knew use to be a CDL tester for Missouri.... it was an easy pass

I would never say something like "I didn't just fall off a tater truck". I'm way too classy for that. ;)

Yes you can. They have rental companies specifically for skills tests. They will drive the truck to the testing location in most cases.
