Let's just call it my 401K.
My practical side usually wins me over most the time. As bad as it sounds, commuter car would be in my future if it were me making your decision. The way I look at it, the money I spend in gas on the Tacoma will pay for the car and insurance. Then I'm just out gas money on the car which will go down to about $35/wk. But......maintenance will be way cheaper on the Altima.

So, buy the commuter car, pay it off then the SAS T4!! Win win win all the way around.

I will be starting to look for a trail rig here over the summer I think once I get some cash together for one... at least one that I could pull behind the Taco.

I would say get a commuter car since you are driving almost 60 miles a day first though and save money on gas and miles on the taco.

Hey y'all, I'm looking to build my first AR. The PSA kits are very appealing due to price. I'm 18, and from the looks of it, I have no way of purchasing a stripped lower. Am I SOL and stuck with buying a complete rifle or does anyone have any tips for me?

    Thanks

    That’s possible.

But then my yard starts to look like a used car lot.

If my frame is fixed and crawlbox installed, then probably yes.

Not sure I haven't looked, but im not sure if they'd sell me one anyways because a stripped lower is classified as "other", so you must be 21.

I am about to take my bone stock 98 Tacoma (245k miles) and replace most every piece of suspension. I have read WAY too many threads and forums, and I just cannot decide what I want to do. I live in Mansfield, and I would like to buy my parts from a local business instead of paying the difference in shipping.

Can any of you direct me to the best dealer to call for advice on parts, or to a recent forum where I can join the discussion to help me make my decisions?

    Thanks in advance.

Are you wanting to lift it, or keep it similar to how it is now?

Are you doing the work, or wanting a shop?

Can you post a pic because I like old trucks?

I will be doing the work myself. I want to sit it up as high as it will go without having to replace the control arms. I also want it to sit level on all four corners. It is not a daily driver. It will be making it's new home at the deer lease. I am not trying to spend more on the truck than it is worth, but I do not want to cut corners that will give me trouble out at the lease either.

Pic is in my bio. I will post more this weekend. I replaced the motor in 2015 and have not driven it more than 1,500 miles since.

    I am down for this...

Nothing more makes me mad than seeing beer bottles and trash on the trails... like how hard is it to keep it in your vehicle until you get back to camp and a trash can.
